Charcoal Burner

In the woods, Charcoal Burners produce coals. This is a fairly inefficient method and the output of coal for armouries and iron smelters is low. However, this is a valid alternative, if there are no usable coal deposits found in mountains. Charcoal Burners reach their maximum output level with just a few workers (6-17).

Hints by experienced players

You should build charcoal burners only in case of a large lack of coal. Forests are valuable building sites for woodcutter's huts and thieves' guilds.
