Armies can be splitted only in Castles, towns, and harbours. Splitting is only possible until the upper limit on the number of armies is reached. If these to conditions are met, the "Split§ button appears at the side of the army (1). When the button is clicked, a popup opens (2). In the popup, the army units can be distributed between two new armies. The top shows the left-over from the original army (3). This left-over also includes all generals and the heroe. The name of the new army is entered on the bottom (4), as ist the number of soldiers (5). The new army automatically received new generals, whose rank is based on the expansion level of the castle, town, or harbour, the army is split on.
