Ore deposits are mined in mountains and are harder to find than stone and coal. Before constructing an ore mine a mountain should be explored to determine whether mining the available ore deposit will pay off. The iron smelters later refine the ore to iron bars.

Constructing an ore mine atop another kind of ruin: 26*

*The provided construction time does not take the research areas "Fatigue Duty" and "Industrial Cooperative" into account!
The cancellation of construction orders is possible at any time. 90 % of the paid ressources are returned.

Hints by experienced players

Due to the relatively low yield of ore mines, iron ore is particularly expensive at the start of the age. Therefore, always pay attention to the development of iron mines.
