Coal mines are build in mountains. They mine coal and have markedly higher ouptut compared to charcoal burners in mountains with suitable coal deposits. The output levels for each mountain depends on the available population, expansion level of the coal mine and available coal deposits. Coal is needed to operate ireon smelters and armouries.
