Plain

The population lives in small settlements on unused plains. Plains without any development do not produce any output. The following developments are possible:

The cancellation of construction orders is possible at any time. 90 % of the paid ressources are returned.

Wood

Woods don't produce any output. Logs are only produced after the construction of a woodcutter's hut. Woods can also be cleared completely to obtain a plain. This also leads to the output of a high number of lots at once, but takes some time. The construction of charcoal burners allows the production of small amounts of coal. Thieves' guild can only be constructed in woods. Only here they can perform their shady business.

  • The provided construction time does not take the research areas "Fatigue Duty" and "Industrial Cooperative" into account!

The cancellation of construction orders is possible at any time. 90 % of the paid ressources are returned.

Mountain

Every mountain contains stone ressources. To mine this ressource the construction of a quarry is necessary. By using the "explore" function in the area selection you can obtain detailed informations about the contents of the mountain. In addition to stone, there may also be iron ore, coal or gold. So, to produce ore, coal or gold you need a mountain containing these ressources and the corresponding mine constructed in that mountain. After the successful exploration of the mountain, the player receives a message under "events". The player can then see the precise percentages in the area selection of the mountain.

Water

Field Description
Coastal water Coastal water.png Nothing can be constructed in water. Water is only used for the fast transportation of units by ships and can not be entered or crossed by an army. There is no difference between coastal water and open water.

Hidden Field

Fields that are not within the range of sight of any of your or your allies' buildings, fields, or units are hidden. Enemy units may travel unobserved in hidden areas. It is advisable to position some units or lighthouses in strategical important areas.
